Make Space for Girls was set up by Susannah Walker and Imogen Clark

Susannah Walker is an author and former tv producer, who was outraged when she realised that not only had her local council only provided outdoor facilities for teenage boys, but they didn’t propose to do anything about it either,

Imogen Clark worked as a lawyer for many years before concentrating on activities in the community and voluntary sector. She believes passionately in challenging the “hard to see” discrimination that arises when so many decisions are based on viewing life though the lens of the dominant groups in society.
